FEATURES

• Provides Good water repellence.
• Reactive silicone in emulsion form.
• Dilution stable.
• Formulation flexibility by use of catalyst
• Produces flexible water repellent film.

HOW TO USE

WR 1300 is usually applied from dilute solution. Solutions are prepared by diluting distilled pure water and stirring the mixture gently until it uniforms. The extent of dilution will depends on the surface to be treated and surface properties desired.Care should be taken that the dilution remains acidic as alkaline PH will lead to evolution of hydrogen.

CURING

Coatings of WR 1300 Emulsion are usually heat cured to develop water repellence. Curing temperatures range from 120°C to 175oC. With catalyst added at a typical ratio of 20:1 (emulsion to catalyst). Curing times are generally 4 to 5 minutes at 150 oC or 30 to 40 Seconds at 180 oC..
