Antifoam Emulsion

Supreme Silicones Antifoam Emulsion is designed to provide optimum antifoam performance combined with good dilution stability and good foam knock down performance.

SS AF Emulsions are general-purpose Antifoam / Defoamers emulsions and their viscosity and solid content can be adjusted according to demand.

SS AF 5520 & 5730 series is more effective in Alkaline Conditions.

FEATURES

• Extremely high performance, thus effective at very low concentrations (10-100 ppm)
• Stable over wide pH range
• Very good foam knock down performance
• Excellent foam control persistence
• Easy to disperse in aqueous systems

HOW TO USE

Supreme Silicones Antifoam Emulsion should be diluted with water prior to use to accelerate dispersion in the foaming medium. Supreme Silicones Antifoam Emulsion can be diluted to any required concentration as per need The preferred method of dilution is to add water to the emulsion and not vice versa. Avoid excessive shear while dilution. Pre-process testing is recommended. Suggested starting concentration is 50 – 100 ppm depending upon foaming media.

USABLE LIFE & STORAGE

When stored bellow 35°C in the original unopened containers, Emulsion has a usable life of 9 months from the date of manufacturing. Supreme Silicones Antifoam Emulsion is unaffected by freeze/thaw cycles. If the product freezes, it should be stored at room temperature to thaw, then remixed before use.
